Hi Girls! 

How are you doing? 

Straightening iron, blow dryers, curling irons, damage your hair. I always try to avoid them as much as possible. Girls, if you are using them frequently, please take a break!!!! Let your hair breath for some time. Whenever possible, air dry your hair. 

There are various hair products available, but I’ve found that there are some hair recipes which are too beneficial for hair and can be easily prepared at home and guess what ? It ends up costing less than the products you would buy though Market or Salons. Try them out. . . . . .

1. BEER HAIR RINSE

It may sound strange to rinse your hair with beer for your hair instead of drinking it, but beer is known to have extremely beneficial effects for both hair and skin. The malt and hops found in beer are rich in proteins which actually help repair damaged hair and revive volume as well. Moreover, the sucrose and maltose sugars in beer help create shine. So girls if your hair is looking a dull and you would like to have a beautiful bounce in your hair, a bottle of beer is what you need! 


Ingredients:

¼ Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Cup Beer 


Directions:

Mix them together. Pour the mixture over your hair, as a final rinse rubbing it in as best you can. Leave them for 5 minutes then rinse with warm water.

2. TREATMENT FOR OILY HAIR 

Managing oily hair is a difficult task specially when your hair gets greasy just a day or two after washing it. I know that it can be so frustrating to wash your hair in every morning and by the time you get back home from your work, you look like you haven’t washed hair since a week! Ugh! But don’t you worry ladies, this amazing homemade recipe will squelch that oil!


Ingredients:

5 Tablespoons Plain Yogurt
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
1 Tablespoon Baking Soda 


Directions:

Mix all above together and apply to hair thoroughly, especially at the roots. Leave you hair for at-least 35-45 minutes then rinse as usual. Please make sure that you won’t do this treatment more than once in a week.

3. GO BANANAS !

Not only can bananas work their magic for your health, but they are awesome for your hair too!
A Banana hair mask can add loads more moisture to your hair. It gives your hair bounce that may have been lost due to straightening, curling or blow drying.  It leaves your hair soft, shiny and healthy looking!


Ingredients:

1 banana
1 tablespoon Olive Oil


Directions:

Mix a banana with olive oil and mash thoroughly until the banana is pureed. Massage into your hair and scalp. let it sit for 30 minutes then rinse thoroughly and shampoo. 


4. OATMEAL TREAT 

Yes you heard it right! Oatmeal is very nourishing for your hair. It leaves you hair Healthy and soft silky. You only require 3 ingredients which you can easily find at home. 


Ingredients:

½ Cup Oats
½ Cup Milk
2 Tablespoons Almond Oil/Olive Oil/ Coconut Oil


Directions:

Mix all of the above ingredients together. Detangle your hair with brush and apply to your hair. leave them minimum for 20 minutes and since them thoroughly with warm water. Shampoo as normal.


5. EGG WONDER

An egg can do magic to your hair! Eggs has so many components in it which are excellent for our hair. Moreover it is beneficial for all hair types.  It also helps your hair to grow faster and make them more shinier than ever! Have you ever used eggs on your hair before? If not, please give a try to this recipe.


Ingredients:

Entire egg for normal hair
Egg yolk for dry hair
Egg White for oily hair 


Directions:

Take 1/2 cup of your egg mixture and apply it to your damp hair, leave in for 20 mins, rinse will cool water, then shampoo.

Hey Folks ! 

Hope you people are doing fine! I am so happy and excited about sharing my views with you all. Since this is my first post and I am so fitness freak so decided to share something related to Health & wellness. 

Here are few 8 simple exercises you can do at home to get a flat tummy. They will tone your belly and give it a better shape and definition.

Enjoy!

1. Crunches / Sit ups

This exercise is beneficial for your upper abdomen. Lay on the floor and hold your hands by your ears rather than behind your head to prevent a neck strain. Bend your knees with your feet on the floor. Then lift your shoulders and upper back up and away from the floor with your face pointing toward the ceiling. Exhale as you come up as far as you can, hold for a second, then inhale as you return to the starting position. Repeat 15-25 times.

2. Crunch and twist


This exercise works the obliques (also known as love handles). Start with the same position as the above exercise (crunches), but this time raise yourself up slowly then twist your body from the waist (not back and shoulders). Try to touch your left knee with your right elbow, untwist and go to starting position. The next time do the opposite side and try to touch your right knee with your left elbow. Repeat on each side 10-15 times.

3. Pike and Extend


Lie on the floor with your legs extended over your hips (see the left image). Then crunch up so your hands reach towards your feet. Then bring your arms back overhead while at the same time you lower your left leg towards the floor. Then crunch up again while your hands reach both your toes, but this time when you bring your arms back overhead, lower your right leg towards the floor. Repeat 20 times alternating sides.

4. Front Bridge exercise


This exercise is great for strengthening your core muscles and is also good for the back (read my other post for more great exercises to strengthen your back). Suck your belly button and keep your body as straight as possible without locking your knees. Continue to breath and don’t hold your breath. Hold yourself in this position as long as you can, then rest. Repeat 2-3 times. Gradually extend the time of holding yourself in the position.

5. Hip lifts


Lie on the floor with your arms by your sides. Your palms facing down and your legs over your hips at 90 degrees. Feet are flexed. Then lift your hips off the floor using your core muscles while your legs are reaching towards the ceiling. Then return to the starting position. Repeat 15 times.

6. Crunch Chop And Crunch Chop Twist


Lie on the floor while your legs are over your hips at 90 degrees and your arms are overhead. Take a deep breath, and when you exhale, lift your head and shoulders off the floor, and as you crunch up, open your legs so your arms chop through your legs. Repeat this movement for 1 minute.

When you want to work your obliques, chop each hand through the opposite leg, for example, when you lift your head and shoulders off the floor, chop with right hand through your left leg and alternate between the sides.

7. Side Plank

Lie on your right side while your legs are extended and your feet and hips resting on the floor on top of each other. Your right elbow should be directly under your shoulder as per the illustration. Then contract your core muscles and lift your hips and knees off the floor. Hold for as long as you can and then return to the starting position. Then do the other side and repeat.

8. Leg Drop


Lie on the floor while your legs are over your hips at 90 degrees. slowly lower your legs as low as you can without touching the floor, but make sure not to lift your lower back. Then raise your legs to the starting position. Repeat 10 times.
